Our Story: How Ecocentric Came to Be
Tracy, owner and founder of Ecocentric Green Salon and Spa, has been doing hair for over eighteen years. About eight years ago, however, she was forced to quit doing what she loved. Unknown at the time, her sensitivity to the harsh chemicals in nearly all of the hair and nail products she was using on a daily basis was causing her chronic sinus problems, skin rashes and headaches. Immediately upon leaving her career as a hair stylist, her allergies cleared up. Although her life at that point was mostly allergy free, she was not happy in her new career. A few years later, upon learning of ammonia free hair products, she decided to open her own salon. This was her chance to recover the life that truly made her happy. Working diligently with her husband Victor and staff to find and implement non-toxic, eco-friendly products and equipment, she began to see her dream become a reality. Finally in April, 2009, Ecocentric opened its doors to the public. It is one of the only “green” salons in Central Florida.

In addition to excellent customer service, we strive to offer the best products to our clients. We are pround to be an INOA certified salon, one of only a few in central Florida.
INOA stands for “Innovation No Ammonia” and is a breakthrough ammonia-free odorless haircolor from L'Oreal Professionnel. INOA hair color delivers exceptional permanent haircolor results with supreme respect of the hair. Labratory testing shows that after nine applications, INOA colored hair is as smooth as before color was applied.
Appointments
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment. We schedule appointments according to our specialists’ availability and specialty. If you are running late, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. Arriving late will likely limit the time allocated for your service; it will lessen the effectiveness and most importantly your pleasure and enjoyment. As a courtesy to all clients our treatments are completed as scheduled. Cancellations of all spa services require a 24-hour notice. Thank you for your consideration and understanding. Gratuities are not included in the price of services and are greatly appreciated. Suggestions are always welcome.
